Shasta Stories Documentary Screening: Full Circle
This 27 minute local documentary is about Franklin Thom, a Karuk elder and what it was like growing up and living in Yreka as an indigenous person. He shares his own struggles of being born with disabilities and reflects on how his ancestors survived the Gold Rush days and built resilience through song, dance, and language.
